These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the RedScreen® website and mobile application (the "Platform").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use RedScreen®.
By using the Platform, you confirm that:

You are at least 16 years of age;

The information you provide is accurate and truthful;

You will comply with these Terms.
2. Nature of the Platform
RedScreen® is an independent user-generated communication platform for commuters and taxi drivers.
RedScreen®:

Is not affiliated with National Rail, Network Rail, the Department for Transport, or any Train Operating Company;

Does not provide official transport updates;
-
Does not operate or arrange transport services;
-
Does not act as an intermediary, broker, or agent between users.
Content shared within chatrooms is user-generated and may not be accurate, complete, or reliable.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;

All activity conducted through your account;
-
Ensuring your profile information remains accurate.
You must not:

Impersonate another person;
-
Misrepresent your identity or user type;
-
Share your login credentials;
-
Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorisation.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Platform to:

Harass, threaten, abuse, or defame others;

Post discriminatory, unlawful, or harmful content;
-
Advertise or solicit commercial services (except where expressly permitted);

Circumvent moderation controls or language filters;
-
Post knowingly false or misleading information;
-
Engage in unlawful activity.
RedScreen® reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether content or behaviour breaches these Terms.
5. Moderation and Enforcement
RedScreen® operates automated filtering and user-report mechanisms. It does not actively monitor all communications in real time.
RedScreen® may, at its sole discretion:

Issue warnings;

Restrict features;
-
Suspend or terminate accounts;
-
Remove content;
-
Retain records where legally required.
Serious breaches may be referred to relevant authorities.
6. User-Generated Content
Users are solely responsible for content they post.
By submitting content, you grant RedScreen® a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.
RedScreen® does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of user-generated content.
7. Private Arrangements Between Users
Any arrangements, agreements, or decisions made between users — including taxi sharing or meeting points — are undertaken entirely at the users' own discretion and risk.
RedScreen® is not responsible for:

Transport arrangements;

Disputes between users;
-
Loss, delay, injury, damage, or inconvenience arising from user interactions.
8. Service Availability
RedScreen® aims to provide continuous access to the Platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The Platform may be suspended or restricted for maintenance, updates, security reasons, or circumstances beyond our control.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RedScreen® shall not be liable for:

Indirect or consequential loss;

Loss of profits, opportunity, or data;

Reliance on user-generated information;
-
Service interruptions;
-
User disputes.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot be excluded under English law.
10. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time via the App.
RedScreen® may suspend or terminate access without notice where these Terms are breached.
Certain limited records may be retained for compliance or legal purposes.
11. Intellectual Property
RedScreen® and the RedScreen® logo are registered trademarks in the United Kingdom (UK IPO).
All platform content, branding, and design elements are protected by intellectual property laws.
Unauthorised reproduction or use is prohibited.
12. Assignment
RedScreen® may transfer or assign its rights and obligations under these Terms to a successor entity, including a future limited company structure.
13. Force Majeure
RedScreen® shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to network failures, third-party service outages, cyber incidents, governmental action, or natural events.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
