About RedScreen®

RedScreen® is an independent commuter communication platform created by commuters, for commuters.

The app enables users to share real-time, user-generated information about delays, cancellations, disruptions, and line closures affecting their selected home station.

When you create a profile, your chosen home station places you into the relevant local chat group, helping keep conversations focused and locally relevant. Home-based users can stay informed about journeys affecting family members, and licensed taxi drivers can participate to assist with onward travel during disruption.

RedScreen® is designed to promote respectful, relevant communication within each station community.

Community & Moderation

RedScreen® operates automated language filtering and a reporting system. Messages are not monitored in real time, but reports submitted via the "Report a Problem" feature are reviewed.

Where community standards are breached, RedScreen® may:

  • Remove content

  • Restrict access

  • Suspend or permanently delete accounts

These actions may be taken without prior notice where necessary to protect users and maintain platform integrity.

Data & Privacy

RedScreen® collects only the minimum information required to operate the platform, including:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Home station

  • Profile photo / Taxi Driver Badge

  • Account creation date

This information is used solely for account management, moderation, and app functionality.

RedScreen® does not sell personal data and does not use user information for advertising purposes.

Users may view and edit their profile within the app at any time. Account deletion instructions are available within the app and in the Privacy Policy.
